I'm going to dedicate this blog to 2PM for the time being; because this is suddenly taking a big toll on me. I shall start at the beginning of all of this mess. And I shall take out my opinions, well, I shall try my best to. September 8, 2008-exactly three months and three days after their counter part 2AM debuted, 2PM hit their stage with their debut song, 10점 만점에 10점, show casing strong acrobatic moves. From there on, they rode on their popularity from "Idol Army" season 3 or otherwise known as "She's Coming." It's a variety show, trying to find out who the most popular idol is in the group. 2PM's season was the longest, lasting a total of 17 episodes, making Super Junior come in second with 14 episodes. This catapulted their popularity due to the fact that the group showed little concern for their "idol image." In short, they were like normal people. This was many of the reasons why they were so immensely popular. They weren't afraid to show a different side of them to the public. 2PM consisted of seven members: Park Jaebum, also known as Jay Park, was the jaw dropping hot leader who lacked height but made up for it by his chocolate abs. Kim Junsu, the soulful voice of the group; for a while, a lot of people compared this poor boy to DBSK's Junsu, completely being ignorant of his talents. Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul, the Thai prince-otherwise known as the winking machine. Ok Taecyeon, the beast in the group; (to be truthful, I don't know why he wasn't as popular at first; tall, handsome, and very charismatic). Jang Wooyoung, in contrast to Taecyeon's beastly image, Wooyoung tend to be ssanti, cheap. Lee Junho, the Bi look a like. And lastly, Hwang Chansung, who was previously exposed to the limelight; he was an actor and played Jung Il Woo's scaredy cat friend in High Kick Through The Roof; and is often mistaken for being the oldest in the group despite being the maknae. On April 16, 2009 the group returned with their mini album, "2:00PM Time for Change," with "Again and Again" as their title song. Unlike their first mini album, this one was manlier, showing the group in a new light and winning nuna fans everywhere. With power house BIG BANG and house held name Dong Bang Shin Ki gone and Idol Army already behind them, the only place 2PM was going was up. They were conquering the KPOP world-and they were doing it quickly. They exploded, taking over the music scene quickly. Everywhere you went, you see them, everywhere you go, you knew them, there was not one place their name wasn't said, not one place their song wasn't heard. May 9th, 2009, 2PM won their first award ever since their debut on M!Countdown. They quickly won triple crown, from all of the music shows. On June 11th, 2009, the group decided to continue with "니가 밉다," translated to "I Hate You." Just like the popularity they had with "Again and Again," "니가 밉다" also gain much popularity, also catapulting the group to their next big project, "WILD BUNNIES." People, and when I say people I mean it literally, not just fan girls-boys, celebrities, Korean citizens, Thailand, overseas fans, and many more-just couldn't have enough of them. Wild Bunnie was slated for a sitcom featuring the boys, but it was a failed project due to the fact that the boys couldn't act. The cast and crew already begin shooting bits and parts of the sitcom, until they decided it couldn't be done. So it was then decided that Wild Bunnies would be a variety show, showcasing a more natural side of them. Wild Bunnies never finished airing. Just like how 1:59PM was missing a minute, Wild Bunnies was missing an episode. September 4th, 2009-exactly one year after his debut, everything crashed. Gone. And in just four days, he left. I'd rather not talk about his Myspace controversies. There are many places where one can read about it. Everything else here on out will be my opinion on JYPE and anything concerning Jaebum. I will always hold on. So you can't let go. Truth be told, I hate Taecyeon. Hate him so much right now. A lot of people tell me not to blame him. But I can't stand it. Why does it seem like Taec is the only one who is unaffected by Jay's departure? “Although we are as a six, I am waiting for the day we become a seven.” – Hwang Chansung “We are not seven. We are one.” – Jang Wooyoung “Oh, we’re thinking of it as if he’s here to receive it with us.”; “We’re thinking about sending the trophy to Seattle.” – Lee Junho “The person who comes to mind the most is Jaebum.” – Kim Junsu “Jay, this is for you, baby!” – Nich Khun “How can I hate the boycotting fans when they’ve stuck with us through everything? I’m actually more thankful for the boycotting fans because it’s like they’re waiting for us just like Jaebum. They know best about Jaebum’s desire to be back and to sing with us on stage. They can’t see us even if they want to, and they can’t listen to us even if they want to. It feels like we left them in America with Jaebum. They’re like Jaebum, the good kind of fool. When Jaebum comes back, I’ll work hard and make this all up to them…” – Hwang Chansung “Jaebum-hyung, we couldn’t have gotten this award without you. We’re waiting for you, so come back soon.” – Ok Taecyeon Chansung left supporting messages on his Cyworld, "Let's walk through this together." Junho told everyone about their brotherhood, "Whenever one of us fall, we put the other on our back and keep running." Junsu left his message- Labels: private |
